How to Install gv software package in Debian 9 (Stretch)

gv software package provides PostScript and PDF viewer for X, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gv

gv is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gv package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gv *

You will get with gv package name, version, architecture and description in a table
